Special conference accommodation rates have been negotiated with a selection of hotels and apartments within close proximity to the conference venue. To obtain the discounted rates offered below, accommodation should be booked through the official conference accommodation booking agents, Organisers Australia, using the Accommodation & Travel Booking Form.
All rates listed are per room per night.

APARTMENT ACCOMMODATION

Freshwater Point - 33 TE Peters Drive, Broadbeach
Freshwater Point offers brand new 4½-star luxury apartments with balconies and riverfront views. Located immediately behind the GCCEC, Freshwater Point is only two minutes walk away from the Centre. Resort facilities include gymnasium, heated outdoor pool, spa, sauna, steam room, games room, fishing jetty and secure undercover parking.
South Pacific Plaza - 157 Old Burleigh Road, Broadbeach
This 4-star beachfront resort with spectacular ocean views is located in the heart of Broadbeach, only a short distance across the highway from GCCEC. Full resort facilities include tennis court, heated pool, spa, saunas and BBQs set in landscaped grounds.
Belle Maison - Surf Parade, Broadbeach
Only minutes from Conrad Jupiters and GCCEC, these 4½ star luxury apartments are located within 250 metres of the beach in the heart of the restaurant precinct of Broadbeach. The fully air-conditioned apartments with balconies and modern decor, furnishings and fittings throughout offer private balconies with magnificent panoramas of the surrounding Gold Coast and hinterland. Guest facilities include heated pool and spas, BBQ facilities, two full-size flood-lit tennis courts, billiards, gym and sauna.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Deposits
In order to secure a reservation, all hotel accommodation bookings must be accompanied by a minimum deposit of one (1) night's room rate. The deposit is non-refundable and will be forfeited if you do not arrive on the date for which you have booked. Please make deposit cheques payable to 'Organisers Australia'. If payment is made by credit card, no monies will be deducted by Organisers Australia, however your credit card details will be forwarded to your chosen accommodation venue as security for your booking. If the credit card is in the name of a person other than yourself, it will be necessary for the cardholder to complete the payment summary on the booking form. Delegates must settle the balance of their account with the accommodation venue.
Each hotel has its own cancellation penalties. Delegates may be charged a minimum cancellation fee of one (1) night's accommodation for cancellations or no-shows. Organisers Australia will not take any responsibility for cancellations or no-shows.
Book By
As this is a peak period for travel to the Gold Coast, you should consider booking your accommodation early. All rooms will be released from sale on 2 March 2009. Organisers Australia will accept accommodation bookings after 2 March 2009, but will not be able to guarantee that accommodation will be available at the conference hotels or at the conference preferred room rates.
Changes and Cancellations
All changes to or cancellations of reservations must be notified to Organisers Australia in writing either via e-mail (krys@orgaus.com.au) or to PO Box 1380, Palm Beach QLD 4221 at least 24 hours prior to you nominated arrival date. DO NOT notify the accommodation venue directly.
AIR TRAVEL
Coolangatta Airport services the Gold Coast with regular direct flights from most capital cities. The airport is 30 minutes south of the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre and Broadbeach accommodation. Alternatively Brisbane Airport is just a one hour drive to Broadbeach.
Air travel and airport transfers from either Brisbane or Gold Coast Airports can be booked directly through Corporate Travel Management (CTM) or via the Accommodation & Airline Booking Form. CTM’s booking service provides the best published and Internet airfares available on Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Blue.
Delegates can now book online, through the CTM new 'live' online booking engine offering the delegate:
- All available airfares, on all three airlines, on the one screen
- Ability to combine different airlines in the one itinerary
- Multiple travellers can be confirmed in a single process (up to 9) with discounted booking fees

Emails should include proposed departure and arrival destinations, arrival and departure dates, preferred times and preferred airline. Frequent Flyer numbers should also be quoted if applicable.
