The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is proud to host its 18th annual national conference, the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference 2009 and Trade Exhibition. As usual the conference will offer delegates the latest on pertinent industry issues, as well as providing a look into the future with sessions focusing on our conference theme "The new frontier: Bringing solutions to your pharmacy practice".
Featuring a quality combination of conference sessions, trade displays and social events, APP2009 ensures you are not left behind as the industry evolves with new practices and technologies.
Conference sessions will address many key industry issues including the 1 August 2008 PBS Reform and the ongoing concern surrounding the encroaching threat of supermarket pharmacy ownership.
Following the success of last year’s increasingly popular Gala Dinner, this year the event will be held at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre, allowing more room for delegates to enjoy our stellar lineup of entertainment including iconic Australian rock band, the Hoodoo Gurus.
In 2009 APP will be "going green" with the introduction of a number of initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint of the event. Visit the Conference Details section of this website to find out how we will achieve this and how you can assist us in this endeavour.
