APP2008 - ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL YEAR!

The APP 2008 conference once again exceeded expectations with a record number of delegates witnessing presentations from a number of high caliber speakers.

Issues such as the impending PBS reform, the impact of the US recession on the Australian pharmacy industry, the threat from supermarkets owning pharmacies and the vital role of pharmacy as a primary healthcare provider were some of the recurrent themes of this year’s event, along with a definite focus on streamlining procedures and practices for the future with the launch of a number of Guild products and services.
